Consumer Public Disclosure for Education Licensure Programs

The Education programs at Illinois College meet requirements for Illinois licensure in the areas of Elementary Education, All Grades Education - PE (PK-12), Middle Grades Education, Secondary Education, Reading (Endorsement), or English as a Second Language (Endorsement).

If you reside in a state other than Illinois, you can still be admitted to the Illinois College licensure program if you meet the requirements. Upon completion of the program, you will obtain an Illinois Professional Educator License. However, there may be additional state requirements if you wish to be licensed to teach in a state other than Illinois after obtaining licensure. You must be able to travel to Illinois to take and pass a content test required for all licensure programs if you do not reside in Illinois.

States vary in what they require to be qualified to teach in each state. There is no guarantee that this program or the Illinois licenses resulting from this program will be accepted in every state.
